3D Camera 1.1 Now Available

Posted on June 23, 2009

We just received notification from Apple that 3D Camera Version 1.1 is now available in the App Store. The update is free to all current 3D Camera 1.0 owners. This minor update reduces the memory that is required to manipulate the 3D images and should result in a more stable and responsive experience.

We’re already working on version 1.2, and based on your e-mail and feedback, we’re making these additions and improvements:

  • Ability to use your finger to re-align images after they’ve been taken
  • Ability to control or eliminate the “black bar” between the left and right stereogram images
  • Ability to save/send wigglegram animations
  • Ability to take advantage of the increased camera resolution on the iPhone 3GS models

If there are other additions or improvements that you’d like us to make, please leave feedback or contact us via e-mail.

Great piece of software. We sell a full resolution 3D monitor kit at NVIDIA and with a few extra steps, I can now shoot 3D photos with my iPhone and view them on my PC with easy.

The only thing that makes it not work perfectly is that the image is reversed order, you need to switch the left eye and right eye files to make it work with 3D Vision. Feel free to contact me, we can help you fix it!
